SDSS offers PIs a standard 10TB Oak allocation at no charge, with increased allocations available upon request. We also provide free backups of all Oak spaces to Google Cloud.

Managing Your Oak Space

Access

Access to Oak spaces are managed by Stanford workgroups. You can find the workgroup associated with your Oak space as oak:<pi_sunet>. If you need any help with access administraiton, please reach out to sdss-compute@stanford.edu.

Files and Quotas

Every Oak space comes with a dashboard that provides information on storage quota, storage utiliziation, inodes, and per-user breakdowns. Anyone who has access to the Oak space should have access to the dashboard.
